Special menu theme “Verdi Requiem”
It will be applied for dinner only from 11/9 – 17/9/2011. A 30% discount on the set menu will be offered for those who show one of the following:
– The ticket of “Verdi Riquiem” on 15 and 16/9/2011
– The Patron card of VNSO
– The subscription member card of VNSO
and these diners will have to show 1 of these cards before asking for the check.

“Pane E Vino” means “Bread and Wine” :) To me, it means a good place to enjoy Italian cuisine :)

The point lies in the fact that originally, its a traditional cuisine restaurant open with very simple, genuine old fashioned but perfect food and drink originally from fresh and most delicious natural fruit and meat. People come not just for fine drink and food but also for the feeling.
As it simple as it is “Bread and Wine” or “Pane e Vino” wants not only bring the cuisine of Italian Food and Drink but also the simplicity, modernity and most of all a cozy place to relax, to take off ties, shoes, and feeling like home/

Bread is the most basic food. It is what nourishes us, at it’s most basic level. Thus, Jesus is saying he is food for us, at the most basic level. He spiritually feeds us. Wine was the basic drink in Jesus’ time. So, bread and wine, the most basic of foods, become the greatest of foods for us – Jesus himself.

i am supposing that the meaning of “pane e vino” is sought and not a translation.
in my view then it concerns two necessities for life, one in a basic form of sustenance and the other in an enhanced form of life sustaing fluids that give enjoyment and deeper meaning to life.
