Future Shorts is back in December with the latest program of international and local shorts! Come join us on Sunday, Dec. 11th, at Lit Cafe. If you can’t make it on Sunday, we have a second screening on Wednesday, Dec 14th at Snap Cafe.
The Future Shorts Festival is the first ever global pop-up festival, showcasing the most exciting short films from around the world. The festival currently takes place in over 50 cities and 17 countries and comprises a worldwide audience of a half-million people, on and offline.
Join us for the December screening which include a diverse range of award winning films from around the globe.
Films include “God of Love”, a whimsical tale of romance and darts, which won the Oscar for Best Live Action Short in 2011. “Incidence By A Bank” from Sweden, is a detailed and humorous account of a real life bank robbery. Filmed on an old decommissioned military submarine with 35mm cameras,”Deeper Than Yesterday”, a winner at Sundance, tells the story of a Russian crew who suffer a rather savage form of cabin fever. Local films include “The Rip” by Le Binh Giang, and the documentary, “Limbo” by Huy Le Khac.

Ticket price: 60 000 VND – 30 000 VND (for students with ID) – free for filmmakers (must bring copy of work).
