Hue – Exhibition 3D Improvisation

From New Space Arts Foundation:
On 18 Dec 2011, our dependent various artists from around the world ; Jacob Riis, Dang Hao, Michelle Stewart and Nguyen Thanh Thuy are improvisitng together at their audience in the stage of opposition or response to one others in 3D improvisation in the film studio of New Space Arts Foundation. At a free art space, three nationalities and four different types of expression are ensembled in 3D. The 3D improvisation creates a space that connects audience and artists.

The exhibition also took place at Goethe Institut Hanoi on 16 Dec.

The interactively performative acts of the four artists ensemble based on lighting, sounds and basically on inner feelings that leading each of us to our subconsicous selves , searching to a place we call “ home” .

By using music techniques, voices, emotions , performative gestures and photography , these artists as of electronic composer, photographer, all-round artist and experimental traditional performer keep balances and make interactively responses in order to create a chain reaction in which its link is a single sentence of a conversation is formed between artists and audience.

Such interactive improvisation is a transmittal and reciprocal reaction. For instance, a photographer reacts to sounds, voices or spontaneous movements in the state of capturing that “ on the spot” ( moment) in his image.

The forms of communication continues until the last word is spoken. This can result in the invention of new practices and new thoughts or forming unpredictable statements that feed back into the listener or performer still remains even when the interlocuter is no longer sitting next to us.
