Dao Anh Khanh in the US
Dao Anh Khanh, one of Hanoi’s best-known and most popular artists, was invited recently to perform at Colgate College in upstate New York.
He was supported by students at the college, including a number of Vietnamese students. Following this appearance he spent 7 days in New York City where he had 6 performances, each with a different group of experimental artists and musicians. Khanh told Grapevine that he hopes to invite many of the artists with whom he worked in New York to visit and perform in Vietnam in 2019, for a major show he is planning.
