Một bàn tay – Give `em a hand

A hand can protect, can prevent. A hand can pull them out of despair. A single photo can make the change.

Each of us (the audience, the photographer and everyone else who knows about this issue) can prevent human trafficking.

It is not an obligation for contestants to document the reality of human trafficking. It is ok for them to use photography as a medium (conceptual photography is also acceptable) to represent their creative personal interpretation of human trafficking.

Submission rules:

• The photo will be taken from 04.06.2012 to 24.06.2012
• The photo must be taken in Vietnam
• The photo has never been submitted to any other contest
• Participants: All Vietnamese nationality; foreigners working/living in Vietnam; or Vietnamese working/living aboard; no age limits.
• Photo can either be digital or converted to JPEG format.
• The minimum resolution of a photo is 2000 pixels/72dpi. File sizes range from 2MB – 5MB.
• Photoshop is accepted if for the purpose of expressing idea.
• Number of photo: A single photo
• Numbers of entries are unlimited.
• Entries must include below information under the format of EXIFF (File info).
• Title:
• Name of Photographer, address, email, phone number:
• ID number or Passport number. In case of a minor, include the ID number or Passport of the Guarantor.
• Clearly and briefly state the message of the photo and time of shooting.
• Photos will be accepted from 0h 04.06.2012 to midnight on 24.06.2012

Awards

The photographer who wins the prize will: 

• Win a Canon PS A3200 photo camera
• Have his/her wining photo published on postcards aimed to raise awareness about human trafficking.
• Receive Certification of Participation of the Organization
