Future Shorts welcomes autumn in Hanoi with the most exciting short films from around the world. Our festival is the biggest pop up film festival of its kind, showcasing Festival screenings take place in over 144 cities and 55 countries with an audience of more than 25,000 people.
Highlights include: Grant Orchard’s BAFTA and Sundance Jury Award-winning short “The Morning Stroll”, the experimental documentary “We’ll Become Oil” about the Gulf of Mexico, and the stop-motion animated “Notes on Biology”, the winner of Best Short at SXSW. In “Street Vendor Cinema” from Brazil, a filmmaker and his team set up a stall that makes and sells short films on demand, where wild fantasies come to life in the middle of a bustling marketplace.
