With 15 years’ experience as musician, event organiser and all round taste-maker in NYC under his belt, Chad Parks has picked up a fair few tunes over the years. As a celebration of New York Eclecticism, Chad will be mixing unexpected combinations this Saturday at ATK.
Refreshing mixes are Chad’s forte, proven by the fact that he’s the only person in the city mixing Alice Coltrane and Yo La Tengo with the likes of Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Harold Budd and LCD Soundsystem. Playing off the crowd, Brooklyn Bridge will go in the direction the vibe asks for, whether that be ambient, rock, hip hop, noise or all of them together.
Be refreshed, hang out, enjoy music that no-one else is playing and try something different.
