Come to Nicole Kircher’s talk about her work with tittle Distance and tips for Vietnamese artists to get fund and travel. Nicole Kircher graduated with Bachelor of Fine Arts from Montserrat College of Art, Beverly, Massachusetts in 2001. She completed her Master of Arts from Johnson State College, Johnson, Vermont in 2007. Nicole started her first residency at Vermont Studio Center during Vermont Artists Week from (April – May, 2009). She  was in Bolivia in the project Sustainable Bolivia (June – August/2010; at New Zero Art Space Yangon, Myanmar (December 2011 – January/2012); at Ne’na Contemporary Art Space Chiang Mai, Thailand (April/2012); and, at Art and Cultural Studies Laboratory Yerevan, Armenia (June – July/2012).

She was awarded Phil Osgathorp Full Fellowship (2009) by the Art Resource Association to attend a residency at the Vermont Studio Center, Johnson, Vermont; and Artist Development Grant (2009) awarded by the Vermont Arts Council and funded in part by the National Endowment for the Arts to attend a residency at Sustainable Bolivia in Cochabamba, Bolivia.

She currently lives in and works at the International Community School, Bangkok, Thailand. She teaches a range of three dimensional and two dimensional techniques using a variety of media to middle and high school students. Nicole has worked a long time as an artist, a photographer and an art instructor in many countries including USA, Europe and Asia. She is an experienced and firm advocate for education of and through visual arts.
