Screening Films by Young Filmmakers

From the organizer:
You are invited to the screening of films made by young film makers. In the program for October, 3 short films will be screened. They are The Journey (by Pham Quoc Dung), Hao Rock (by Nguyen Hoang Giang), Paper Plane . After the screening, you will be able to talk to these young and talented film-makers.

The Journey and Hao Rock is two documentaries in the Top 4 Golden Lotus Award in our Film making project. The Journey has also been selected in regional Yxineff 2012 Festival.

About the films:

1 – Hào Rock: is about the story of Dang Van Hao – a young graduate. He has to make a decision between following what he likes with music or continuing to work in the boring banking environment. The film is a struggle to choose between these two choices.

2 – The Journey: In a holiday trip, the son begins to trace back all the men who used to be a great part of his mother’s life. And in the end, he discovers the final destination in her road to find happiness.

3 – Paper plane

The Centre for Assistance and Development of Movie Talents was established with the purposes of designing and implementing programs to assist and develop movie talents and other activities for the development of Vietnamese cinema.
