Come to the dance show JAZZ!

JAZZ! is a journey through the history of Jazz dance, as told by dancer and choreographer John Huy Tran. The show invites its audience to explore Jazz dance, all the way from its afro-American roots to Street Jazz in Vietnam today. Taking inspiration from Charleston, Swing, and Tap, and evolving through Music Hall and musicals to today’s Hip Hop, forever changing, Jazz always creatively incorporates the rhythm of the times.

JAZZ! is written and directed by Linh Rateau, with a choreography team led by So You Think You Can Dance Vietnam 2012 (SYTYCD VN) judge and choreographer John Huy Tran. The show will also provide a space for young Vietnamese choreographers such as Nguyen Vu Hoang Minh, Nguyen Ngoc Tan, and Nguyen Nhat Anh to showcase their work. JAZZ! will feature some of SYTYCD VN’s leading performers – including winner Lam Vinh Hai and top four contestants Vo Hong Nhung and Do Quang Dang.
