From the organizer:

You are invited to the Introduction of the unique travel diary “In Vespa – From Roma to Saigon”. Being held in the Vespa Museum with the participation of Hanoi Vespa Club, the Book Introduction hopes to give out inspirations to youngsters and generally to people who are passionate in backpacking travel and the Vespa culture.

What motivated a thirty-seven year old guy to jump on his Vespa and never stop anymore, imagining and following routes that connect multitude of destinations all over the world, which, considering the mean of travel he had chosen, are far away from each other like galaxies in the universe? “On Vespa: From Rome to Saigon” is a particular journey book with “travels that focus on the exploration of the internal self”. The author Giorgio Bettinelli had left his job and his daily life in Italy to conquer his dream journey of 24,000 km long in 7 months, and then wrote his travel diary full of meetings, strange but marvelous lands, travellers and local people all together. And “we can add to his career that one of a traveller – a kind of travel different from any traditional one that Giorgio had made it on the wheels of his Vespa, conquering the world as well as his own self.”

Participating in this event, readers will have the opportunity to communicate directly with guests from Italy, which will be a good occasion to understand deeply about this country, about Italian people and their rich culture. On the other side, it’s also a good opportunity to meet people: not only Italians but also Vietnamese, who love travelling, exploring and who have a great love for Vespas.
