Come to “The Vietnamese Cityscape in a State of Flux” – a talk by Nguyễn Thế Sơn in Singapore.
For the last ten years, Nguyễn Thế Sơn has been observing the changes of the Vietnamese cityscape, trying to understand the stories behind the process of erasure. In this presentation, Nguyễn will talk about his artistic practice, which encompasses silk painting, photography, photo relief and photo installation.
Biography
Nguyễn Thế Sơn (b. 1978) is a Master’s degree graduate from the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing, China. Since 2012, he has been working as a lecturer at the Vietnam Fine Arts University.
