Arts For Mobility is an art auction/concert at the Saigon Opera, that raises money to buy wheelchairs for disabled people. This year the event is taking place again, on Saturday 16th November. This is an opportunity to show your art in the Saigon Opera and ‘give something back’, as artists Gilbert and George said.
100% of the money raised from selling donated artworks goes entirely to buy wheelchairs, which are given to poor people all over Vietnam.
Would you be interested in donating one of your works for this year’s show? The exhibition is usually a happy mix, featuring work by professional artists, children in orphanages, folk artists, designers, etc. There will be easels and a little table space to display work, so pieces that do not require framing are preferred.
Participants will have their work featured in the glossy, colour catalogue that is printed for the event, and you will receive a copy of it.
Please email to Cristina NualART a photo of your artwork and some information about it (about 50 words), and your website, if you have one, by the 30th October. We can arrange for somebody to collect your work from your house/studio at some point in the next few weeks.
