Call for Support: Program Quang Binh Piggy Bank

From Spring Volunteer Group:

Spring Volunteer Group is a team of young people, who really concern about children, especially disable and disadvantage children. The group has successfully organized 5 programs so far: Ha Giang (12/2011), Rehabilitation and Education Center in Cao Bang (04/2012), Muong Te (12/2012), Sin Thau (04/2013), Cao Bang (09/13). We do not have ambition of creating a fairy-tale. All we hope is to give children there simple happiness that every child should have and more less encourage them to trust in the bright side of life.

With that spirit and to expand the echo of our last 5 programs, we are now proceeding with the 6th program: “Quang Binh Piggy Bank” (14/12/13) in Tan Hoa, the area has been suffered by floods every year.

I. The Program Activities in Tan Hoa :
• Gifting 267 primary pupils with: warm clothes, notebook and stationary, milk.
• Gifting Tan Hoa 1 and Tan Hoa 2 School with: children bookshelves and vaious of book titles for children at all ages.
• Giving Girl Scholarships.
• Painting and decorating classroom.
• Organizing Health check for year 1 & 2 pupils.
• School Cinema, Hair cut, Games and other activiies.
• Gifting 10 most disavantage families with warm clothes and rice.

II. List of Donations:
• Clothes for children (include socks, scarves, gloves, woolen hat…)
• Foods (milk, biscuit, sweet…)
• Stationary (notebooks, pens, pencils…)
• Children books, Newspaper, Magazines…
• Money (we will convert into goods and give back the receipts)
• Necessity products (soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, warm clothes, …)
***Notice: To avoid wasting goods and time to classify, please make sure all donations are suitable and safe for children. Do not donate old and broken stuff.
