You are invited to the special concert with Trio Samir Barris in Hanoi, Hue and HCMC.

Members of Trio Samir Barris (string trio):
Samir Barris (guitar, vocal)
Margaret Hermant (violin, harp, back vocal)
Nicholas Yates (contrebass, back vocal)

Samir Barris leads us through famous works of French poets, with his notes and lyrics. In a bold and sophisticated way, he brings the outstanding poems of Baudelaire, Hugo, Verlaine, Lamartine and Vian into music.

As his compositions are prevented from the declamatory style, dusted poems could reveal their timeless beauty. The anthology takes out of books and encounters with pop, reggae, jazz and bossa nova.

The author / composer / singer Samir Barris lives in Brussels. He has released two albums and also achieved success in children’s songs (Ici Baba).

His current project is to tour with famous works of French poets, which are set to music.
