From Hue (Vietnam), Phom Penh and Battambang (Cambodia), women artists gathered to discuss issues, share challenges and exchange ideas relevant to their lives through their arts practice this week. In this workshop Cambodian artists Tes Vannorng, Linda Koeut, Sao Sreymao, Sou Sophy and Khchao Touch collaborated with visiting Vietnamese artist Nguyen Thi Thanh Mai.
We invite you to come and join their open studio, explore their art in progress and engage in discussion with the artists.
Visiting Artist
Nguyen Thi Thanh Mai is currently the Pisao resident artist at Sa Sa Art Projects in Phnom Penh. During Mai’s residency she has taken a particular interest in researching the Vietnamese fishing village near Tonle Sap lake in Siem Reap province.
