The Award is a worldwide contemporary art Award to discover, recognize and give support to fine artists under the age of 40. There are no restrictions in terms of media, production year, size, etc. The Chimera Art Award focuses on the contribution of contemporary art in understanding our time.
The main Award will be awarded by an international jury to one individual participant or collective of participants who will receive a solo-exhibition at Chimera-Project gallery together with a 1000 USD exhibition budget, an exhibition review and a works.io pro plan. Additional to the main prize a „Public Chice Award“ will be given to one of the top 15 shortlisted artists. The winner of the Public Choice Award receives exclusive coverage on Works.io, and a professional portfolio review.
