Artists’ submissions will be reviewed by our selection committee of renowned art critics, curators and academics for a chance to have their work exhibited and sold at our annual high profile art exhibition next to their peers from 10 countries in SE Asia.
SPOT ART is a high quality, juried art competition and exhibition for artists under age 30 in SE Asia that aims to strengthen relationships between artists, art institutions and arts professionals in Southeast Asia. Each edition brings the finest contemporary art produced by young artists under the age of 30 together with renowned curators and art buyers in a winning and dynamic way.
SPOT ART is founded on the principle that education and curatorial excellence play an essential role in the advancement and endorsement of contemporary art. Our open call engages graduates and associates of premier art universities in the rigorous selection process by distinguished art experts to ensure that each annual event showcases artwork of the highest standard.
ELIGIBILITY: SPOT ART juried competition is open to all artists under the age of 30 currently living and working in SE Asia. Any artistic, visual medium is acceptable. Images submitted must represent actual artworks completed within the past 3 years. Multi-media installations must have already been completed and documented. Proposals for artworks or installations will not be considered. Any subject or theme may be explored by the artist.

SPOT ART exhibition last year was organized from 26 Oct to 04 Nov 2013 and showcased two Vietnamese artists – Le Thi Huong Giang and Tran Chi Thanh.
