You are invited to Hoa Binh’s Fine Art Exhibition 2014, a collaboration between Muong’s Cultural Museum and Hoa Binh Fine Arts Association at 202 Tay Tien Street, Hoa Binh city. A group of 23 artists will bring to the event 33 artworks from lacquer, oil, silk, acrylic, ceramics and sculpture, most of which were featured in 2014 Fine Art Exhibition of Region III (Tay Bac – Viet Bac, Vietnam) in Bac Can province.
Especially, artist Tran Thi Thu has won first prize in Region III contest and is one of 4 artists to receive Vietnam Fine Arts Association award for her painting “Me” (selected from 8 national applicants). Besides, there are 4 artists from Hoa Binh province nominated Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations prize in 2014. The nomination is deemed their remarkable achievement after years of collective endeavour. This event is expected to set a precedent for the following years.
