About the film

The ‘enxaneta’ is a boy or girl who climbs up the “castell” (human tower), a major festival in catalonian culture. Blanca used to be an enxaneta when she was a child. She is a grown up now, and has a relationship with Alberto, a writer. ENXANETA is a radiograph of their love story, a love story out of sync.

The film aims to raise awareness of the values and examples of the castells (human towers) after UNESCO declared them to be part of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
