The Space is a website for artists and audiences to create and explore exciting new digital art. We commission projects from ambitious artists working across a range of art forms and creative and digital industries, technology and coding, art and culture.
We are looking for original, groundbreaking ideas to commission for audiences to experience on mobiles and tablets. Anyone over 18 anywhere in the world can apply.
If you have an idea for The Space you can start the two-stage process now by submitting your idea using the Online Form.
You will need to prepare a brief 300-word description explaining your idea. We need to understand your artistic vision and how the idea can exist on the internet and be experienced through small screen devices. You can also submit a 3-minute video, piece of audio or a PDF to support your description and bring it to life.
Winning artists will receive substantial commissioning funding, their work published on our online platform, plus training & mentoring to help develop their skills and career.
