Manzi Seeking Proposals for Solo/Group Exhibition

From Manzi:

Established in December 2012 as an independent art space aiming to support contemporary Vietnamese art, manzi encourages diversity, creativity and co-creation in the arts & culture.

We are calling for proposals for solo/group exhibitions from young Vietnamese artists. Successful applicants will then work with our team to further develop and realize their proposals before their exhibitions, which will take place this year at manzi.

Manzi will provide successful applicants with an exhibition venue, all PR works and some production money.

Criteria:

· Artwork must be original and not have been exhibited in Vietnam or abroad.
· Any medium can be used (Installation, sculptures, video art, paintings…)
· Artist should take into consideration the architecture of our space.
· Open only to Vietnamese artists under 40 years of age
· Proposals can be from either individual or a collective of artists.

Proposal should include:

· Brief description of the proposed project, including a budget (no more than two A4 pages)
· Sketches or images of proposed work(s).
· Images of past or present works (no more than 5 images).
· CV of artist(s)

Please note:

· Proposals will not be returned to artist(s).
· Proposals will be considered and chosen by manzi and our team of advisors.
