HCMC – Celebrating the 140th Anniversary of Bizet’s Carmen

The 140th Anniversary Celebration of Opera Carmen will be held at the Ho Chi Minh City Opera House at 8pm on March 29th, 2015. The program will feature Ballet Carmen Suite with Alberto Alonson’s choreography and staging by P. A. Kim Quy. Audiences can also expect to hear exceprts and arias from Bizet’s operas in performances by HBSO artists such as Mer. A. Hong Vy, Pham Trang, Tran Duy Linh, Duyen Huyen, Thu Huong, Thanh Minh, Khanh Ngoc with the HBSO Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Maestro Tran Nhat Minh.
