You are invited to the World Music performance with Alif Naaba.
As the winner of 2012 Visa pour la création (Passport to Creation) held by French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and French Institute, Alif Naaba is warmly greeted with his 4th album titled Yiki (Stand up) which was recorded in 2013 in both Kigali, Ouagadougou and Paris.
The successful promo concert in Burkina Faso, as well as the exceptional reception for his tour in the Republic of East Africa, Southern Africa and the Indian Ocean countries has recognized his inspiration after a long and painful practice, and a fresh vision. Alif Naaba’s music is a mixture of folk and traditional music to express emotion and hope. He writes the music for Nguwino Ubeho to commemorate the 15th anniversary of genocide in Rwanda.
Alif Naaba Kunde received Gold Kunde award for the Best Artist in 2014, at “Victoires de la Musique” award ceremony in Burkina Faso.
