From Goethe Institut:
You are invited to the book introduction “Rico, Oskar und das Herzgebreche” in the framework of European Literature Days 2015.
Rico and Oskar couldn’t be more different: one of them deeply talented, but still confident; the other one highly gifted, but fearful. Nevertheless they are friends, who are already solving their second case. In the sequel written by Andreas Steinhöfel handbags, stones and bingo balls were playing a huge role. Since the great success of his first book with the Vietnamese and the German readers the second volume was just published by Kim Dong publishing company in Vietnam. The book will be presented by Dr. Thuy Anh.
Andreas Steinhöfel studied English and American studies, as well as media science at the University of Marburg. Following his studies his first book was published in 1991. Since then the author wrote more than fifteen books and many screenplays for TV stations. The first volume about the two friends Rico and Oskar was awarded with the Deutscher Jugendliteraturpreis (German Youth Literature Prize) for the best children’s book in 2009. In 2014 the story was made to a film.
