This is a special photographic exhibition, organized by a group of artists and photographers. In the name “Dream of rebirth” we present not only diverse photographs, but also our desire selling the artworks to support the Lang House Heritage Restoration Fund – in the order to rebuild the one and only aristocratic architectural heritage Quan Lang, that was ruined in the end of 2013 in Muong, Hoa Binh. This exhibition is in a series of events organized by the community of artists in Campaign “Lang House – Dream of rebirth” of Muong Cultural Space Museum.

Ten artists and photographers are ten faces, which have their own personality and independent sense of creation in photography, though there are certain common points in theme or subject. They are Nguyen Viet Hung also known as Lekima, Nguyen Quoc Dung – DungArt, Hoang Hai Thinh – Hai Keu, Le Luong – Luong Led, Hoang Manh Cuong, Ngo Xuan Phu, Vu Ngoc Bao, Nguyen Lam Tuan Anh and Trinh Vu Hieu.

This photography exhibition seems to be normal like any other exhibitions, regardless of the specific photographers and also their photos. But an exhibition, with the artworks will be sold openly, that aims to rebuild the ruined heritage, that’s why it’s much more meaningful than the art story only. It shows us the pure soul of the people behind the cameras, their consciousness with the community, culture, wire connection between the passion for beauty and the protection the beautiful values of the community in general. This idea can be realized most clearly in Trinh Vu Hieu’s photos, the artworks touch the audiences with all love and soul. The desire “Lang House – Dream of rebirth” from the ruins becomes true.

The story of modern photography, with the rapid development of digital technology helps us a lot for raising our voice to get better quality culture and life. And the exhibition like this deserves all respects. That is the respect for the experience, appreciation of the passion of beauty, and the honor of the artist’s conscious living.

The artworks being sold artworks in this event will be donated for the “Lang House – Dream of rebirth” campaign of The Muong’s Culture Museum.
