Arc is a mobile reading room of artists’ books, small press and independent publications. There are over 200 books on display, gathered from artists, collectives and publishers around the world. The collection includes artists books and art zines, cultural journals, experimental writing, digital projects, contemporary illustration, photobooks, offbeat comics + more + more…

Come and browse the collection! Just remember to take care of the books – they’ve travelled a long way, many of them are limited edition, some are hard to find and difficult and expensive to replace.
!! Handle with care! No food or drink near the books! And careful with enthusiastic children !!

Saturday 3rd Oct, 10am – Ayesha will be giving a small talk on the history of artists books and introducing the collection.

Sunday 4th Oct, 10am – 12pm – Music that you can read to: to accompany your reading session, Arc will be playing a selection of background music featuring songs by authors and artists, songs about authors and artists, and some weird aural delicacies that you may not hear anywhere else…

Arc reading room is part of the Vietnam Artists’ Book Project.
