In occasion of the 150th birth anniversary of Carl Nielsen – a well-known Danish composer – come to the concert “A night of Carl Nielsen” performed by the HBSO Orchestra Symphony under the conduction of maestro Frans Ramussen, a countryman of the composer. The concert will be on stage at 8 PM on Oct 9th 2015 at the Opera House.

PROGRAM:

PART I:
– Overture to the comic opera “Masquerade” (4 min.)
– Prelude from Act II of the comic opera “Masquerade” (4 1/2 min.)
– Dance of the Cockerels from Act III of the comic opera “Masquerade”(4.5 min.)
– Concerto for clarinet & symphony orchestra, Op. 57 (24 min.)

– Symphony No. 3, Op. 27 “Sinfonia Espansiva” (35 min.)
– Allegro espansivo
