You are invited to the round table discussion about climate change at COP21 with the participation of:
– Mr. Nguyen Van Tan – Deputy General Director, Department for Meteorology, Hydrology and Climate Change, MoNRE
– Mr. Wael Hmaidan – Director at Climate Action Network
– Mr. Koos Neefjes – UNDP Vietnam
With a view to point out the current status, relevance and interdependence among national processes in the field of climate change in Vietnam, particularly at COP or international negotiation level, the dialogue would like to bring together the government, development agencies as well as civil society representatives to discuss and share practical knowledge on this issue. Those representatives will be expected to share their knowledge on the overview of Vietnam’s Government current activities and priorities in the run up to Paris together with the contributions and engagement of CSO to the new CC agreement as well as the most pressing climate change issues in Vietnam.
