“Xẩm ngọng – Lullabies – Bamboo Green” is a night of Vietnamese traditional music with contemporary poetry by Nguyen Duy.

Nguyen Duy is one of the most important poets of Vietnamese contemporary literary, who fortunately reserves sound and timbre of Vietnamese in his works. The combination of poetry – music made by Nguyen Duy and his friends come naturally. People’s Artist Xuan Hoach, People’s Artist Thanh Hoai, M.A Thanh Binh – the masters of Vietnamese traditional music have rearranged many traditional music genres (Ví, Cò lả, Ru, Xẩm, Hát Văn, Hát Chèo, Ca trù, etc…) and famous works of Nguyen Duy.

Nguyen Duy will come and tell his stories together with his friends in the performance.
