Art exhibition “Nesting” by artist Nguyen Thuy Trang includes 10 artworks inspired by the honeycomb. Trang uses special material of honeycomb as inspiration for creating all artworks in the exhibition.

The artworks used soft materials such as paper, wind paper, fluorspar paper, embroidery, hemp and unique weaving technique to show the true meaning of “Nesting”. Moreover, she uses technology in some artworks to harness the diversity and transformation of the material surface when combined with motion elements. This is her way of turning a static object to active.

Visual artist Nguyen Thuy Trang: apart from creative work, she is also the director of Ti Toay Atelier. Nguyen Thuy Trang graduated from the Bachelor of Art, Vietnam University of Fine Arts in 2009. She later studied Art – Media and Textile Art at the University of Angers, France. Her works have been exhibited in many countries famous for art, such as France, Italy, Spain. In 2014 she held Carnevale Di Venezia exhibition inspired by the masks of Venice – Italy.
