In the third week of female directors’ film month, you are invited to the film screening “The Hurt Locker” and “Sleepless in Seattle”. Language: English with Vietnamese subtitles.
While “The Hurt Locker” of director Kathryn Bigelow is a phenomenon at Oscar 82nd when they won 6 prizes, “Sleepless in Seattle” of director Nora Ephron is an infamous romantic movie in the early 90s.
The Hurt Locker
THE HURT LOCKER is a 2008 American war film about a three-man Explosive Ordinance Disposal (bomb disposal) team during the Iraq War. The film was produced and directed by Kathryn Bigelow and the screenplay was written by Mark Boal, a freelance writer who was embedded as a journalist in 2004 with a U.S. Army EOD team in Iraq.
