Science Film Festival 2016: Call for Applications
Deadline: 18 Mar 2016
Time of festival: Oct 01 – Dec 18 2016
From the open call:
The Goethe-Institut cordially invites filmmakers, producers and broadcasters from around the world to submit science and technology content to the Science Film Festival 2016.
In 2015, with over 750 000 visitors in Burkina Faso, Cambodia, Indonesia, Jordan, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Oman, Palestine, the Philippines, Qatar, Russia, Sudan, Thailand, the United Arab Emirates and Vietnam, the event keeps growing as one of the biggest film festivals worldwide. It took place in Vietnam from Oct 11 to Dec 06, 2015.
This year, the Science Film Festival invites audiences to discover the fascinating world of MATERIAL SCIENCE – understanding how materials are put together, how they can be used, how they can be changed and made better to do more amazing things!
However, films and programmes on all subjects and for all ages are all welcome for consideration.
We look forward to receiving film, television and interactive media submissions on this and any other subjects related to science and technology through our online application form until March 18, 2016.
Be part of a leading science communication and education initiative taking place in 16 countries!
