From Goethe Institut:
The Goethe-Institut presents the popular fairy tales “Sleeping Beauty” and “The Bremen Town Musicians” by the Grimm brothers in Vietnamese.
On Sunday before the International Children’s Day, the Goethe-Institut invites to children’s story time. Two tales for children by the Grimm brothers will be screened in a new film version with Vietnamese synchronization in the morning as well as in the afternoon at Kim Dong Cinema.
In “The Bremen Town Musicians” a chicken, a cat, a dog and a donkey escape from their farm to become musicians in the German town Bremen. Along their way they encounter some robbers who they put to rout with their singing. But one of the robbers returns once again…
The princess “Sleeping Beauty” falls into a 100-year-long sleep after she pricked her finger on a spindle. Hereupon the castle gets surrounded by an impenetrable thorn hedge. Only a brave prince who conquers the thorns and clambers the tower is able to awaken the Sleeping Beauty with a kiss to end the wicked spell.
After the film screening the fairy tale time continues at home: The book about the best 10 fairy tales by the Grimm brothers in Vietnamese and German, edited by the Goethe-Institut, can be acquired at a special discount on the location.
