Our special night with Chandra – talented singer/songwriter from Manila, Philippines.

Chandra means moon. Some titles are based on western zodiac, the songs are quite dark and dreamy.

The lyrics are mostly about life, death, sensuality and romanticism. The voice mixes with the guitar to dreary a euphony of pain and melancholy.

The songs can be related to so many things because it is also quite metaphoric; depression, suicide, death, death of the soul, being alive, being aware and awake. It would make you feel sad but at the same time, hopeful. But most importantly, it shows how attachment could bring much sadness and suffering to an individual, so it also tries to make you see things and accept things as they are, by simply letting go of things, of people, of events or situations. Because it is what it is. You just have to trust the universe and believe. Depression and anxiety were the major inspiration why these songs were born.
