From the organizer:

Most people dream to live a meaningful life while giving their own contribution for a better world. However, only few people actually create a business that allows this dream to come true. Have you ever wondered why?

Welcome to “The World through The Lenses of Social Entrepreneurs, a Collective Story Harvesting event”!

Social entrepreneurs see the world in a very particular way. They see opportunities to do business with their hearts, which has a social cause at its center. They want to give their contribution to solve a social problem they see, while giving meaning to their own lives. They have inspiring stories of overcoming the challenges they faced because they believe that a better world is possible. Listening to those stories can perhaps help us overcome our own fears and live the life we believe in.

This event will be hosted by practitioners in the Art of Hosting Conversations that Matter, and will feature a team of amazing storytellers:

– Diego Cortizas Del Valle, from Chula – An ethic fashion brand, “a different company that believes in other kind of society”
– Frederic Labarthe, from The Life School – A place for spiritual self development, holistic living and social responsibility designed to facilitate the emergence of a new generation of global citizens.
– Jimmy Pham, from KOTO – A social enterprise, training center, restaurant chain that is changing life of disadvantaged youth in Vietnam
– Van, from Atelier Vegan – A workshop and restaurant that promotes veganism and love for nature

Storytelling is an ancient and powerful tool that has been a key to learning throughout human history. Now, you are invited to be a part of those stories and to build connections and mutual inspiration with other people who are committed to the creation of a better world!
