Mid-Autumn Festival 2016 – The Culture of Bac Lieu

The Mid-autumn festival is coming to the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology with the program to explore the culture of Bac Lieu province.

During the two festival days (10 and 11 Sep), visitors, especially children, will have the opportunity to participate, experience the unique culture of Mid-Autumn Festival in Bac Lieu province as well as exploring the following activities:

1. Lion Dance Performance; Ro Bam Bac Lieu; Don ca tai tu
2. Performance and instruction to make Bac Lieu crafts: Basketry; Plaited coconut leaves
3. Discover typical cuisine of Bac Lieu: Rice Paper; Ba khia; Bon bon, Hong Dan Rice paper and teas.
4. Make Mid-autumn carfts: star light, paper doctor, drum, animals, etc.
5. Mid-autumn storytelling and puzzle
6. Prepare the party with sticky cake, young rice, fruit
And many traditional games are held at 7 houses in the outdoor exhibition area.

Pupils: VND 3,000 VND 10,000, free for children under 6 years old
Students: VND 5,000 VND 15,000
