What is Quest x Doclab Short Film Competition?

Quest x Doclab Short Film Competition gives you a chance to be screened at two top art festivals happening in Vietnam and enter the competition for the main prize.
The first round of Quest x Doclab Short Film Competition, where 10 best films will be shortlisted, takes place at Quest Festival. The films will be screened at Quest Cinema – a space that will play host to stimulating films, interactive experiences and visual entertainment.
The second round of Quest x Doclab Short Film Competition, where the winners of main prizes will be announced, takes place at Mini Doc Fest. Mini Doc Fest is a documentary and experimental film festival organized by Hanoi Doclab that showcases films from local and regional as well as international artists.
This year Quest celebrates The Legend of Son Tinh and Thuy Tinh. The participants are to choose any element that is directly or indirectly incorporated in the Legend.
Submitted work has to relate to the Legend’s content but it is up to the filmmaker to decide in what way and form will his or her work connect with the theme.
