The holy animals are created by human and used as cultural symbols to express ideas and spiritual beliefs, religion… They appear in myths, legends and be expressed in visual arts.
The holy animals in the Vietnamese visual arts has many different types based on others cultures and widely used for a deep reflection of religion and ethnic culture.
The exhibition will help to identify the artistic, cultural and symbolic values of the holy animals in Vietnam.
