Tadioto
24B Tong Dan Str, Hanoi

From the organizer:

What separates us? What identifies us? How does destiny shape us, our sense of home, and how we view others? How do we cross borders? Does exile mean homelessness – or does it engender cross-cultural experiments?

Join Nguyen Qui Duc as he engages international artist Alia Ali in a conversation about borders, identities, homes — from Bosnia to Viet Nam, from Yemen to Morocco — and view Alia’s work as a photographer and video documentarian.

Alia Ali is a visual artist who has lived and worked in Austria, Bosnia, Yemen, Viet Nam, Indonesia, Mexico, the U.S., Wales, and travelled across the world to document the way people identify themselves. She now lives in Morocco.

One of the most important conversations to take place at Tadioto in ten years. Free event.
