You are invited to the solo exhibition “Giá Thánh” by Tran Tuan Long – the first painting exhibition about Đạo Mẫu (the worship of mother goddesses in Vietnam) after it is recognized as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
It was not until UNESCO recognized Đạo Mẫu as as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in Dec 2016 was painter Tran Tuan Long interested in Đạo Mẫu. He has been mesmerized by the fascinating moments of Hầu Đồng for almost 20 years.
Tran Tuan Long was born in 1967. He graduated from the Vietnam University of Fine Arts in 1995 and specializes in traditional lacquer painting. He had participated in solo/group exhibitions in Vietnam, Taiwan, Korea, Germany, etc…
