You are invited to the film screening “Citizen Architect: Samuel Mockbee and the Spirit of Rural Studio” directed by Sam Wainwright Douglas about Samuel Mockbee (1944-2001), an architect who turns modern architecture towards social, environment and educational issues.

So far Rural Studio has made over 170 projects (both public and private), trained over 800 architects and won dozens of awards for “Sustainable Architecture”. Only a few people like Samuel Mockbee can direct architecture for so many purposes, from education to social and environmental impacts.
