From Goethe Institut:

Katharina Padrok (mezzo-soprano), Sebastian Myrus (tenor) und Boris Schönleber (piano) recite the „Italian Songbook“ by Hugo Wolf.

The Italienisches Liederbuch is an audio interpretation of 46 traditional Italian love poems. The character of the songs ranges from love to mockery and from conflict to reconciliation. With the extracts of this songbook, we are hence diving deeply into the emotional abyss of mankind.
