From TPD:

Southeast Asia Fiction Film Lab is a pioneering and in-depth program specializing on script and production for Southeast Asian filmmakers (who start producing the 1st, 2nd or 3rd feature film).

The program lasts for 9 months, including 3 meetings in October, February and June. The project will be selected annually. The directors and producers of each project will receive an invitation.

At the last edition of SEAFIC, the “Cu Li Never Cries” Project (directed by Pham Ngoc Lan, produced by Phan Dang Di) was one of five selected projects. It is also one of the 15 film projects that recently gained support from the Cinéfondation, a cinema foundation founded by the Cannes Film Festival.

On 27 Mar, Pham Ngoc Lan and Raymond Phathanavirangoon (SEAFIC Executive Director) will have a talk at the TPD to introduce the benefits of script development and production training, share experiences after joining SEAFIC last season, as well as how to apply for the next SEAFIC.

In particular, SEAFIC 2017 accepts direct project introduction. Each filmmaker will have a meeting (on Tue 28 Mar) with Raymond to present his/her own project. Registration form
