You are invited to a conference & launch event of the book “Livre de Perle” by Timothée de Fombelle within the framework of the French Literature Series.
Timothée de Fombelle was born in 1973 in Paris. He is a French writer, dramatist who is well known for his fantastic novels for adolescents – for example: the series Tobie Lolness or Vango. “Livre de Perle” is his latest novel written for children.
From a world of magic, a boy is exiled to the world of humans. Welcomed by the family of Perle, he takes refuge under the name of their missing son Joshua. He begins a new simple life in this new world, but the memories of his lost love and the aspiration to return to his world are still burning.
