FVH invites you to participate in our June events:

– City Walk from the French Concession area to Thiền Quang Lake (in English) on Friday 16 June. Contact the event organizer: [email protected]
– City Walk to the back alleys of Hàng Da market area on Sunday 18 June. Contact the event organizer: [email protected]
– Film night (the second FVH event at the iconic Vietnam Feature Films Studio!) screening the “Wharf of widows” (Bến không chồng) on Thursday 22 June. Contact the event organizers: [email protected]

Waiting list – the day trip to Tam Đảo and Animals Asia bear sanctuary on Saturday 10 June is full. There is a waiting list in case any places become available; please contact the event organiser: [email protected]

Details are still to come – a Dó paper workshop will also be held this month.

Calling for English-speaking volunteers to assist with activities for Sóc Sơn kids – Since December 2015, FVH has been privileged to be associated with a local group of 6-16 year old children from Phú Thịnh, a small village in Sóc Sơn District (not far from Noi Bai airport). FVH coordinates a group of mainly foreign volunteers taking it in turns to visit the village one Sunday each month to run a variety of English-speaking activities.
