BEYOND STRUCTURE is an immersive workshop programme about design. This open call is for participants to create designs that will go on to be showcased in the BEYOND STRUCTURE exhibition in early December.

The programme will look at the repurposing of empty and abandoned structures existing in Hanoi. BEYOND STRUCTURE will focus on aspirational ideals of the repurposement and activation of these buildings and urban areas to enhance social interaction and strengthen the traditional Hanoian sense of community.

During the workshop professionals from different disciplines will share their experience and ideas with the participants. Combining philosophy and design we will have the chance to dream about a Hanoi of the future, bringing some fantasy to design strategies to give us a different perspective on how to shape our future environments.

We’re looking for passionate students / junior architects, living in Hanoi to attend the workshop. Participant numbers are limited.

APPLICATION DEADLINE: 30 Oct 2017

APLICATION CONDITIONS:
– Be available to attend full day workshops on the 18th, 19th and the 25th, 26th of November 2017
– Be under 26 years old and either studying architecture or architectural interiors or working as an intern or junior architect
