Happy Vegetarian Tết – “Spring of Love”

Following the 2017 Happy vegetarian Tet, with the desire to spread the values of peace, tradition, the 2018 An Lac vegetarian Tet – Spring of Love will be organized on January 28th, 2018.

Happy vegetarian Tet is an annual event aiming at at spreading the peaceful way of life, contributing to preserving and developing the fine traditional cultural values of Vietnam, thereby fostering a loving fire, connecting the community, towards a peaceful and happy life.

There is something special at the 2018 Happy vegetarian Tet – Spring of Love:

– This event is the concomitance of the HEC Community and Youth Union – Student Association of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. This is a special new factor and a great opportunity to spread the values of a healthy lifestyle to students in particular and young people in general.

– Happy vegetarian Tet is filled with warm space with traditional colors but still modern and fresh. It is an opportunity for us to wrap up the sticky rice cake and enjoy the traditional music by the fire, boil Chung cake, feel the ancient Tet with the senses, understand more about the humanitarian values of traditional Tet, together play folk games of the days before, enjoy featured folk music…

– The 50 stalls participating in the event are vegetarian restaurants, vegetarian food processing establishments, food products, clean and environmentally friendly appliances. Visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy attractive and nutrient vegetarian dishes, access to “new” products that are very close as organic detergent, herb incense, natural essential oils, traditional handicraft products etc.

– It is an event where enterprises have the opportunity to trade, introduce, promote products and connect with young people who are involved in their business. Students will have the opportunity to experience the reality with the enterprises, support them to introduce products to customers, understand the process and the way to bring products to consumers.

– It is an event that promotes a healthy, natural way of life, and protects the environment. The stalls and visitors will not use plastic bags and disposable items such as plastic cups, foam boxes, plastic chopsticks … Packages and bags of their products aimed the most at environment-friendliness.

– Apart from roaming the stalls, every visitor has the opportunity to experience the realities when being able to participate in games about how to live a healthy life, learn how to make useful products, receive valuable gifts, happy life handbook.

– 10h30 – 11h30: Contest on “Healthy Lifestyle”
– 11h30 – 13h30: Film screening on vegetarianism, environmental protection
– 14h00 – 15h00: Talk show “Incubating humanitarian start-up”
– 15h00 – 16h00: Guidance and contest on cooking vegetarian food.
– 16h00 – 17h00: Exchange with special guest on healthy lifestyle
– 17h00 – 19h30: Film screening
– 19h30 – 20h30: Performance
– 20h30 – 21h00: Closing ceremony
