FILM SYNOPSIS
• Genre: Drama
• Duration: 120 minutes
• Film screened in original language with Vietnamese subtitles and not for audience below 18 years of age
• Nội dung phim:
You are an ordinary person?
You work hard and you are happy with your little family?
Your ‘wildest’ fun is to get wasted on the weekend?
And the worst thing that can ever happen to you is ending up in the police station, then your pal will bail you out and get you home?
Yeah, maybe so! But what if the bad day is not over yet? And in fact, it has just started when you decide to call home…
Starting with a scene filled with tension which gets amplified by sound effects, “Oldboy” knows how to capture audiences’ attention from the very first moment.
The film tells the story of a man who was kidnapped and locked in a room for 15 years, until, as surprising as the beginning, he gets released. It’s time that he goes find the man behind everything and gets his revenge.
Well-structured with an excellent plot, “Oldboy” has received critical acclaim and become one of the best representatives of Korea’s cinema.
