From the organizer:

The “Abstraction” art talk will evoke new perspectives on the similarities between paintings and music, especially on improvisation in abstract paintings and jazz music.

The talk will be accompanied by a performance in which abstract paintings will be done done on the spot by visual artist Roisin Keown, with jazz improvisation by pianist Vu Tu Cau in the background.

Career summary:
– From 1996 to 2000: Editor at the Music Publishing House, then graduated Master degree at Vietnam National Academy of Music
– Current: Working for Military University of Culture and Arts as Vice Dean of the Faculty of Basic Art

Training & Awards:
He has participated in many jazz performances and also being a member of the National Young Band with many awards:
– Best Young Band Award at the First Professional Band Festival
– Second Prize at the First Student Band Festival
